Corrections log
We write about things that affect your money, so getting something wrong isn't cheap. Our rule is simple: when we spot a mistake, we correct it in the open and log it here rather than quietly editing it away. If you catch something that looks off, email us at [email protected].
Corrections we've made
Wording on how fast Flexible redemptions land. An early draft said funds arrive "instantly," which gives the false impression that it's guaranteed to hit your balance in seconds with no delay ever. We changed it to "usually instant or same-day, though it can briefly queue during extreme peaks or maintenance," which is closer to how it actually works.
How we frame Dual Investment. An early draft leaned on the "relatively safe way to collect a bit of yield" line you see everywhere online. After a second look we corrected it to say plainly that Dual Investment is a high-risk, option-like structured product, not a sure thing, and added the risk that either settlement can leave you buying in or missing out against your wishes.
The stablecoin APR comparison table. The first version listed specific percentage rates. Since Binance's rates move around constantly with promotions, hard-coded numbers go stale fast and end up misleading readers, so we removed every hard-coded rate and switched to a qualitative comparison plus "check Binance's own page for the current figure."
Our corrections policy
Clear factual or data errors get fixed as soon as we can and logged here. Small typos and layout tweaks aren't logged separately. When a rule change makes something out of date, we update the body text too and note it here where it matters.
